AMC, the Academy of Management Consultancy, started as a management consulting-cum-training operation. The idea stemmed from the founders, being seasoned management consultants, who recognized that many of their clients needed someone who knew their organization well and who they could trust to change the attitudes and enhance the skill sets so they could implement the consultants' recommendations. Management consultancy and in-house management training constitute the main services of AMC until 2006 when the Academy took on higher education as the third value-added offering for its clientele.
AMC assists clients to drive specific corporate strategies, improve performance and enhance the qualities of their staff through identifying and diagnosing problems, distinguishing root causes from symptoms, developing appropriate solutions, and lastly providing the tools & teaching clients the implementation skills to tackle and current problems as well as preventing their recurrence in the future.
Typical consulting assignments include: organizational health diagnosis; development, review and reform of corporate culture and organization; guidance, action learning and strategy of developing managerial talents; risk management; quality and performance assessment; corporate strategy development; operation efficiency and work flow improvement etc.
